Dr. Bartosz Sujecki is an attorney-at-law specialised in the field of commercial litigation. He advises and litigates in all matters in the field of commercial law with a focus on IP and IT law. As a Dutch-German lawyer, he is familiar with the Dutch as well as the German legal system. Bartosz studied law at the Leibniz University Hannover, the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and the University of Amsterdam. After his graduation, Bartosz worked as a PhD lecturer at the University of Utrecht. He defended his PhD in 2008. His PhD was published in the serie of the Max Planck Institut in Hamburg. Then, Bartosz was an assistant professor at the Erasmus University and later the University of Tilburg. There he gave lectures in civil litigation and private international law.Since the beginning of 2010, Bartosz started to work as an attorney at law admitted to the Amsterdam Bar. In 2014, Bartosz was admitted as a Rechtsanwalt at the Bar of Braunschweig. Since 2019, Bartosz is admitted to the Bar in Utrecht and Braunschweig. Bartosz publishes frequently in German, Dutch, Polish and international legal journals. Next to his work as an attorney, Bartosz regularly gives lectures and presentations in the field of cross-border civil procedure, IP and IT law, as well as international private law. He was a speaker at the New York State Bar Association Annual meeting. Additionally, he gave a webinar for the California Bar Association.
