Bio

I am a corporate and commercial lawyer with experience in employment. I run a firm with a £5 million turnover and a staff of 80 people. I have hands on experience of buying two businesses. The first being Phillips via a share purchase agreement and the second being Brain Chase Coles through an asset purchase agreement. I led the transition team when merging the two firms together allowing me to give a unique perspective from a practical point of view as well as legal. I work with my clients to make sure they are getting practical as well as legal advice. Too many lawyers just focus on the particular task rather than looking at the wider picture and how it may impact the business. As a business owner, I understand the pressures of cashflow, what it feels like to guide strategy and deal with staff  Recent work highlights include: a. advising on the sale of a car dealership for c. £2.25 million; b. advising on the sale of a Mechanical and Electrical engineering consultancy business for £2.5 million; and c. advising a snack company on investment of £1 million;
