I specialise in commercial litigation, intellectual property and media law.I am an experienced commercial litigator who advises and represents clients in complex disputes. I frequently appear as counsel in the New Zealand Courts, including in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. While I conduct all types of litigation, I have particular expertise in intellectual property (copyright, trademarks and patents), media (defamation and privacy), trusts, contract and consumer protection law.
I am recognised for my IP work both by Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2020 and by IP Stars 2019, where I am highly recommended and ranked as a 'rising star'. I am a co-author of the patent infringement section in New Zealand's leading intellectual property commentary, “Intellectual Property Law" (LexisNexis), and am a member of IPSANZ.
